What can a personal trainer do for you?
A personal trainer will push you, motivate you, and support you to be the best version of yourself by exceeding your personal goals and expectations. I will be your coach, your teacher, and your biggest supporter during your personal fitness journey toward achieveing optimal health and a balanced life.
What is involved?
Initial Consultation & Fitness Assessment
The initial consultation can typically last anywhere between 60-90 minutes and can be done in-person in the comfort of your own home. We will discuss your goals, objectives, and the primary reasons for wanting to hire a personal trainer. First, you will fill out a physical activity readiness questionnaire and waiver form. Second, a fitness assessment will be performed to evaluate your current fitness level. The fitness assessment will measure things like muscular endurance, cardiovascular health, and flexibilty. Lastly, these results will be used to indicate your current fitness status, determine the trainer's plan of action, and measure progress throughout your cutomized fitness program.
Training Package & Customized Planning
Based upon the results from the fitness assessment, the trainer will then recommend the best training package to meet your specific fitness needs. Once a training package has been established, the trainer will then create a customized training plan based upon your assessment results and fitness goals.
Track Your Progress
Before, during, and after any fitness and/or nutrition program, it is highly recommended to track your progress by measuring either your body weight, body composition, body mass index, and/or waist circumference. A DEXA Scan will be highly recommended to measure body fat percentages prior to the start of any fitness and/or nutrition program. These techniques are a more precise and reliable method that is typically adminstered by a trained medical professional. Each personal training session is 60 minutes in length and will focus on an effective and efficient workout. The workout will be organized and planned based specifically on your personal goals and fitness needs. As your coach, I will ensure that you execute each exercise properly to maximize results and minimize injury. I will also ensure that you push yourself to be your best at each workout.
